Operator Finance Analyst AI & Automation at Too Good To Go

Builds and deploys AI-powered finance automation tools using agentic workflows to streamline finance operations and processes.

Mid Onsite Posted 16 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious mission: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.

More than 1⁄3 of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet. 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste and loss.

Through our marketplace app, we connect businesses that have unsold, surplus food, with consumers who can buy and enjoy it at ⅓ of retail value. We are a certified B Corporation with a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste. Alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast: Our community of 120 million registered users and 180,000 active partners across 21 countries, have together already saved over 500 million meals from going to waste

In 2023, Too Good To Go was recognised on Fortune’s acclaimed ‘Change the World’ list, named as one of Deloitte’s ‘Best Managed Companies’ and won a coveted ‘Cultural Impact Award’ at the annual Apple App Store Awards.

We’re looking for an exceptional Finance Analyst to join the Denmark superstar team at Too Good To Go in Copenhagen.

Your mission

We need someone who ships finished finance products. You have roots in accounting, controlling, finance operations or business finance so you understand the discipline, you respect deadlines, you know why accuracy matters. But you’ve fallen in love with building, and you’re skilled with Claude Code, Cursor (or similar) and agentic workflows. You’re genuinely curious about what’s possible with AI, hungry to learn and evolve, and obsessed with ensuring what you build actually works and delivers real value to the people using it.

You’ll work closely with our Head of Reporting & Controlling, the broader finance team, and our data and engineering organisation. Together, we’re automating and reimagining how finance works at Too Good To Go. This role is about execution, craft, and finishing what you start and when successful one with truly high leverage and large impact.

Your role

  • Ship finished finance AI and automation products. You scope problems, design solutions (with active guidance from leadership), build them with Claude Code or similar agentic tools, test thoroughly, deploy, and support rollout. You own the finish line not 80 percent, but 100 percent, ensuring real impact.
  • Turn finance process pain into automation. Work across our finance team to understand workflows, identify where agentic tools and intelligent automation reduce time and error, and build those tools. You’ll measure impact and iterate based on feedback.
  • Own and evolve our finance reporting dashboarding and data infrastructure. Together with our other financial analyst, you develop and maintain our Power BI infrastructure. You understand data models end-to-end, you can build and debug them, and you own their reliability. When month-end dashboards or underlying data models break, you diagnose and fix them. You support the team by ensuring the technical plumbing works so they can focus on finance work.
  • Be an AI craftsperson and learner. You’re genuinely curious about what AI-powered tools can do in finance. You experiment, you learn, you stay current. You understand how to design systems that actually work—not just ship fast and hope.
  • Step in during critical periods. During month-end close or other deadline crunches, you’re open to supporting the team—especially on technical issues like debugging data models, fixing Power BI logic, or helping diagnose why a reconciliation isn’t tying out from a data perspective. You understand the finance processes well enough to spot where the technical layer is breaking them. Your core job isn’t month-end, but you’re a reliable safety net.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who can execute this role and be the “AI person” in our finance department. We try to ensure that the entire department is up to speed with AI fluency and you will lead our efforts here.

Must-haves:

  • Finance operations or accounting foundation. You’ve worked in accounting, finance operations, controlling, financial analysis, or a similar role where you understand financial processes, reconciliations, data integrity, and why deadlines matter. You don’t need to be a CFO, but you think like someone from finance.
  • Agentic coding fluency and genuine curiosity. You actively use Claude Code, Cursor, or similar agentic tools. You’re genuinely excited about what these tools can do, you understand how to prompt and verify outputs, and you’ve shipped real, working code to production. You’re not afraid of the technical depth, and you want to keep learning.
  • Power BI (or equivalent BI tool) competency. You can build dashboards and data models end-to-end, or you’re very strong at SQL and can ramp quickly on Power BI.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial data integrity. You understand reconciliations, financial statements, and why data accuracy isn’t negotiable. You can spot when numbers don’t make sense.
  • Self-directed with clear communication. You can take an ambiguous problem, ask good clarifying questions, scope it thoughtfully, and drive it to completion with moderate guidance (not hand-holding). You can explain technical decisions to finance people and finance logic to technical people.
  • Coachable and feedback-positive. You welcome constructive feedback, especially from people in different domains. You ask “why” before you push back. You adjust based on input from people who know the domain better than you do. You’re comfortable being coached and you grow from it.
  • Relevant experience in finance, accounting, controlling, data engineering, or a technical role where you’ve shipped products with real impact. (We’re open to both mid-level builders ready to level up and experienced senior builders.)
  • Education Bachelor’s in accounting, finance, computer science, or equivalent
  • Fluent in English

Nice-to-haves:

  • Python, SQL, Power Query, or VBA experience
  • Experience designing or working with LLM-powered workflows or agentic systems
  • Exposure to financial modeling or forecasting
  • Experience in a fast-growing company or startup environment

Our values:

  • We Win Together
  • We Raise the Bar
  • We Keep It Simple
  • We Build A Legacy
  • We Care

What we have to offer

  • A rare opportunity to work in a social impact company (and certified B Corporation!) where you can see real and tangible impact in your role.
  • Working alongside an international community of users, partners and 1,200+ colleagues across 21 countries that are on the same important mission.
  • Personal and professional development opportunities in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
  • An inclusive company culture where you can bring your authentic self to work
  • A strong, values-driven team culture where we celebrate successes and socialise with colleagues that care.

Benefits

  • WORK FLEXIBLY:

    • Enjoy hybrid working from our great offices, at home or abroad.
    • Extra parental leave and days off beyond local legislation and the option to take an extra week of unpaid leave
    • Health insurance and pension plans (subject to country of employment).
    • Additional days off for significant life events
  • CELEBRATE & SOCIALISE

    • Regular social events like summer and winter parties.
    • Coffee, snacks and fully-equipped kitchens.
    • Get to know our community with a monthly free Surprise Bag
    • Paid volunteer time through our Shareback volunteering programme
    • Women in the Workplace, P.R.I.D.E., People of Colour and Functionally Diverse Employee Resource Groups

How to apply

  • We take recruitment very seriously, so please carefully read everything we have written above. Please also check our website and international media in order to get a good overview of Too Good To Go.
  • Submit your CV and Cover letter in English.
  • Please note that we only accept applications coming through our platform. No CV or Cover Letter will be accepted by email or LinkedIn direct messaging.

A Movement for Everyone

We want to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together. With that mission, it’s only natural that we want to build a diverse and inclusive team of highly capable individuals who are passionate about doing things in a better way. We strongly believe we all excel and are more creative when we’re allowed to be ourselves, and we’re committed to a culture where all of us belong.

We are an equal opportunity employer and all employment is decided on the basis of qualifications, merit and business need. If you need reasonable accommodation at any point in the application or interview process, please let us know.

Operator Forward-Deployed Engineer at Yurts

Embeds with government and enterprise customers to design, build, and deploy custom agentic AI workflows and applications on the Legion platform.

Mid Onsite Posted 27 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About us:

Let’s be real: AI isn’t magic. Legion was built to slice through hype and deliver secure, dependable agentic systems that work alongside the people tackling the world’s most critical challenges. Born from a DoW partnership and trusted by leaders across government and enterprise, Legion embeds intelligence inside complex systems—unlocking data, accelerating human workflows, and hardening mission-critical operations.

From the forward edge to Fortune 500 back offices, our agentic platform drops AI into the software people already use, optimizing, not replacing, workflows. With world-class collaborators like NVIDIA, HPE, Palantir, and Oracle, we’re building infrastructure that boosts human capability everywhere it runs.

We’re looking for bold thinkers and doers to join us in shaping an AI future that’s secure, grounded, and built to work.

The Role: This position requires a US Department of Defense or Intelligence TS/SCI clearance.

We’re looking for a forward-deployed engineer to work directly with customers to design and build custom workflows on top of our agentic AI platform.

This is not a traditional product or platform engineering role. You will sit with end users, understand mission needs, and rapidly develop “app packs” and workflows that solve real operational problems. You’ll operate as both a builder and a translator—turning ambiguous requirements into working systems. You’ll have a finger on the pulse of our end users, transforming requests and requirements into truly transformative agentic AI solutions that revolutionize user workflows.

You will spend the majority of your time (80–100%) embedded with customers, working independently in classified or constrained environments. Success in this role requires autonomy, strong communication, and the ability to ship practical solutions quickly.

You’ll also act as a feedback loop into product and engineering—surfacing patterns, feature gaps, and opportunities to improve the core platform.

Due to Government contract requirements, we are only able to hire US citizens or Green Card holders.

Responsibilities:

  • Embed with customer teams to understand mission workflows, pain points, and operational constraints
  • Design and build custom applications and workflows (“app packs”) on top of the platform
  • Rapidly prototype and iterate on agentic AI solutions in real-world environments
  • Translate non-technical user needs into technical implementations
  • Operate independently in forward-deployed environments with minimal oversight
  • Gather and synthesize product feedback, feature requests, and usage insights
  • Collaborate with product engineering and agentic solution teams to influence roadmap and capabilities
  • Integrate with enterprise systems (data platforms, ticketing systems, collaboration tools, etc.)
  • Build lightweight UI components and interfaces where needed to support workflows
  • Support deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing iteration of solutions in the field

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solution Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles
  • Experience building and shipping full-stack applications or prototypes in production or near-production environments
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar scripting languages
  • Experience integrating with enterprise systems (e.g., Microsoft O365, Palantir Foundry, Databricks, ServiceNow, Atlassian)
  • Ability to build simple UI/UX using frameworks like Node.js, Next.js, or React
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously and solve ambiguous problems
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in classified or restricted environments is a plus

Due to Government contract requirements, we are only able to hire US citizens or Green Card holders. This position requires a US Department of War or Intelligence TS/SCI clearance.

Domain Experience:

  • 4+ years supporting military, intelligence, or defense-related environments
  • Familiarity with mission domains such as operations, logistics, intelligence, or C4/IT systems
  • Experience working with government or federal customers preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building or deploying AI/ML systems, especially agentic workflows
  • Familiarity with tools such as n8n, Palantir Foundry, or other workflow/automation platforms
  • Experience evaluating AI system performance and interpreting results
  • Exposure to product telemetry, usage analytics, or feedback-driven iteration
  • Experience working in early-stage or high-growth startup environments

Why Join Us:

This role sits at the edge of product and reality. You won’t be building features that may or may not get used—you’ll be building systems that are immediately deployed and tested in the field.

If you want to work close to the mission, own outcomes end-to-end, and have a direct hand in shaping both product and customer success, this is the role.

$185,000—$260,000 USD
