Overview
Weâre looking for a senior technical content designer who will quickly understand technical concepts and systems and then write quality documentation that follows our style guidelines. Youâll use standard technical writing principles to create clear, unambiguous user documentation in a friendly, conversational style.
Youâll have a strong interest in content itself â how you write it, how you structure it â and how you deliver it. Youâll be proactive and willing to share your ideas and play an active role in the wider team.
The primary focus for this role is to document our applications and software. As a senior technical content designer, you will also be responsible for helping to onboard, train, and support other content designers.
Responsibilities
Write technical documentation for our software platform and applications.
Collaborate with subject matter experts across our global organization to make sure that your documentation is comprehensive, accurate, and valuable. Attend meetings to gather requirements, ask questions, and occasionally be available to remote teams outside of your normal office hours to gather requirements and feedback.
Work closely with other members of the technical content team to deliver content on time: we work as a team and help wherever we can.

Plan and execute content, information requests, and tasks on time, and to the highest standards.

Bachelorâs degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, or equivalent practical experience.
You must have at least eight years of experience as a technical writer in a software environment.

Salary Range:
The annual base salary for this position is between $70,000 CAD and $80,000 CAD per year.
This role is also eligible for discretionary bonus and/or commission, as well as other benefits. Actual pay within the listed range will be determined based on factors such as transferable skills, relevant experience, market conditions, and primary work location. The posted range is subject to change and may be updated periodically.

About the Role:
We are seeking a Podcast & Media Production Intern to join our AI Venture Lab initiative. This role will focus on producing podcast content, capturing event media, and supporting storytelling initiatives for NovaForge events and TEDx-style programs.
About the Placement:
We have a scheduled ongoing placement immediately and an ongoing bi-weekly placement until June. We are also screening candidates for our Summer and Fall of 2025 to align with academic internship schedules. Your placement can be either full-time or part-time, but must be a minimum of 520 hours. 520 mandatory hours are required to complete our program. We allow flexibility to avoid any conflicts with academic responsibilities. Please outline your ideal placement date or term and any constraints you may have.
What Youâll Do:
1. Podcast Production: Plan, record, and edit podcast episodes featuring founders, investors, and industry leaders.
2. Event Media Coverage: Capture video, audio, and behind-the-scenes content during events.
3. Content Editing: Edit audio/video content for distribution across platforms.
4. Storytelling & Scripting: Assist in developing episode outlines, scripts, and narratives.
5. Distribution Support: Help publish and promote podcast episodes and media content.
6. Professional Development: Stay current with trends in podcasting, media production, and digital storytelling.
