Design Principal Product Designer - Core Platform at BVNK

Principal Product Designer leading design strategy for core platform systems including onboarding, treasury, reconciliation, billing, and financial crime compliance tooling.

Lead Hybrid Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About us:

We believe the next generation of financial services will be powered by stablecoins.

Founded in 2021, our mission at BVNK is to accelerate global money movement.

We’re building stablecoin-native infrastructure so businesses can move value instantly across borders and networks. With global licenses and T1 bank partnerships, we facilitate billions in transactions for enterprise clients like Worldpay, Deel, LianLian Global, and Rapyd.

Our technology is transforming how businesses operate globally by eliminating payment delays, reducing costs, and unlocking trapped capital.

We’re a diverse team spread across EMEA, North America, and APAC, with a shared belief that stablecoins are the new infrastructure layer for financial services, and that BVNK is at the forefront of this shift.

In 2025, we secured strategic investment from Visa, following our $50 million Series B with Haun Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, Scribble Ventures, DRW Venture Capital, Avenir, and Tiger Global. With the backing of these leading investors, we’re accelerating our growth – and we’re looking for smart, ambitious people to help us build the future of financial services.

We’re incredibly honored to have made Newsweek’s list of The Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces three years running (most recently in 2025) and to have been recognised by LinkedIn as one of the Top 20 Startups in the UK in 2024.

About this role in the team:

Design at BVNK is scaling into 2 areas: Customer Value Stream (the surfaces our clients use to send, receive, store, and convert) and Core Platform (the systems that make all of it work). We’re hiring a Principal Product Designer to own design for Core Platform and Fincrime.

This is the chess end of design at BVNK. The work spans onboarding, treasury, reconciliation, billing, core processing, and financial crime — compliance case management, sanctions and transaction monitoring, internal ops tooling, and the platform primitives every customer-facing product depends on. The users are experts — compliance analysts, ops teams, finance — and the design problems are about taming real complexity, holding several constraints in your head at once, and finding the move that’s both correct and elegant.

You’ll be one of two Principal Designers, reporting to the Head of Design, and partnering closely with the Directors of Product for Platform and Fincrime on long-range strategy. While we continue to build out the senior bench, you’ll also work day-to-day alongside our senior product managers on the problems in front of us. The pod includes our Lead Designer for the Design System, whose work you’ll help shape strategically.

As the area grows, this role has a path into design management.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

Own design for Core Platform and Fincrime end-to-end

  • Set the design direction for Product Platform (onboarding, treasury & reconciliation, billing, core processing) and Fincrime (compliance, monitoring, case management)
  • Partner with PM and engineering to define problems, explore solution spaces, validate concepts, and ship product improvements that move the metrics that matter for these areas — operational efficiency, false-positive rates, time-to-resolution, onboarding conversion, platform reliability
  • Stay involved through launch and iteration. Handoff is not the finish line.

Work AI-first, not AI-curious

  • Start in an LLM. Use Claude to clarify intent, draft short PRDs, pressure-test approaches, and surface risks, edge cases, and second-order effects before involving the wider team
  • Prototype with Claude Code. Generate working flows and interfaces, then guide them on structure, behaviour, and UX quality. Partner with engineers on what graduates into the product
  • Treat research as a velocity tool, not a gate. Talk to internal users (ops, compliance, finance) and external customers directly; run small tests; adjust direction quickly
  • Bring work into Figma for full state coverage, system alignment, and production readiness once direction is validated

Design for the 80⁄20 in a complex domain

  • Encode the judgment and complexity required for regulated, high-stakes workflows under the hood, while keeping the default experience simple and successful for most users
  • Build for expert users without falling into the trap of exposing every option. Decide what to surface, what to automate, and what to hide
  • Hold the line on design quality across surfaces that are easy to neglect because they’re internal

Raise the bar across the design org

  • Run crits and design reviews in your area, and contribute to them across the team
  • Mentor senior and mid-level designers; help them grow into harder problems
  • Share prompts, patterns, workflows, and learnings — what works with LLMs, what doesn’t, what’s worth standardising
  • Partner with the Lead Designer for the Design System (who sits in this pod) on the strategic direction of the system, making sure Core Platform work strengthens it

What we need from you:

  • A portfolio that demonstrates leading design for complex, operational, or expert-user products — not just consumer surfaces. Compliance, ops tooling, financial systems, developer platforms, healthcare workflows, or similar
  • Evidence of shipping work that moved real business or operational metrics, and an ability to talk about those numbers fluently
  • Fluent, daily use of LLMs and AI prototyping tools as part of your actual workflow — not as something you’ve read about. Be prepared to show us how you use them
  • Senior craft in Figma, prototyping, and design systems, with the judgment to know when each is the right tool and when it isn’t
  • A track record of operating as a senior IC across multiple product areas and influencing peers, PMs, and engineering leaders
  • Experience in fintech, payments, crypto/stablecoins, or another regulated domain is a strong plus but not required if the operational/expert-UX experience is there
  • Excellent written communication. A lot of our work happens async, and clarity compounds

What you can expect from us:

  • Fair and competitive salary at every stage of your growth
  • Flexible working hours, with hybrid working at its heart
  • A culture built on passionate, growth-minded people
  • A flexible approach to holiday
  • Opportunities to travel to our offices around the world
  • An open and creative environment where you can help us define the future of BVNK, its culture, and its opportunity sets

At BVNK, we are focused on building a diverse and inclusive team. While you may not meet all of our requirements, we’d encourage you to apply if you meet the majority of our expectations. You may be a great fit for this role or another role in our team.

Design Product Designer

Design and ship user-facing product features for a healthcare app, from prototyping through implementation, using AI tools to accelerate the design process.

Mid Hybrid Posted 1 day ago RemoteOK Dev
What this role involves
The Role

We're looking for a product designer who designs, prototypes, and ships. Someone who knows the difference between software that works and software that makes someone smile.

Clinicians use Heidi to get away from keyboards and back to patients. We want the product to feel as considered as the best software you've ever used: cohesive, quiet, and precise across every surface. When a clinician's tools feel right, they spend less time fighting software and more time with patients. That's the job.

You'll own specific features across Heidi's product surface, from the first rough frame through to what lands in front of clinicians. You'll work directly with engineers, care about the 3px padding issue as much as the information architecture, and ship work you're proud of, not just work that passes review.

This role is based in Sydney or Melbourne. If you're somewhere else and you're exceptional, we'll make it work.

We don't care about logos. Show us what you've made, and tell us why it's good.

What You'll Do

  • Produce pixel-precise, interaction-complete work you'd put in your portfolio, not work that just clears the bar
  • Use AI tools as part of your process: generating variants, accelerating exploration, moving from rough concept to refined solution faster than traditional workflows allow
  • Work directly with engineers during implementation, reviewing builds and flagging where quality has slipped from the spec
  • Sweat the details that separate good software from trusted software: type choices, spacing, motion, micro-interactions
  • Work within and contribute to the design system: apply existing patterns with rigour, flag where patterns are missing or broken
  • Share work early, give honest critique, and receive feedback with the same seriousness you'd give it

What We're Looking For

  • A portfolio that shows craft at the component and screen level. We want to feel something when we look at it, not just follow the UX flow.
  • You use AI tools (Figma AI, Claude Code, or similar) as part of your workflow: regularly and with intent, not occasionally
  • Strong foundational skills: typography, layout, colour, component architecture. The kind of thing you can see immediately in someone's work.
  • You can defend a design decision without referencing user testing; you have opinions about easing curves, optical versus mathematical alignment, and why a component should be structured the way it is
  • When you see a broken pattern in production, your instinct is to fix it, not file a ticket

If you answer 'no' to these, this may not be the job for you:

  • Are you geeky about software? Have you picked up a new tool in the last two weeks and gotten excited about it?
  • Does inconsistent spacing in a shipped product genuinely bother you?
  • Can you defend a design decision without referencing user testing?
  • Are you able to ship without a design system team, governance structure, and research coordinators at your beck and call?
  • Does the prospect of turning clinical chaos into something quiet, precise, and beautiful make you feel fuzzy inside?

Why Heidi?

Our health systems hurt everybody. Systems are log-jammed, clinicians' lives degrade in quality, and patients churn through the meat-grinder.

This is neither a special nor interesting insight.

However, it means we're solving a real problem. Hundreds of thousands of clinicians use Heidi. Every clinician using Heidi gets hours back in their day. This is the starting point to build the product of your dreams: immense distribution, and a world of potential.

You'll join a team that doesn't celebrate fundraise milestones, imaginary valuations, and glossy PR. We live and breathe the pain of modern health systems, and won't rest until we've exacted the change we'd like to see. We're medicos, engineers, and designers who've felt (on every side of the equation) what non-care feels like - the moral and practical toll as a provider or receiver.

The bad news is it's not an easy job - you will tear your hair out more than once. Modern technology company concepts don't transpose unto healthcare easily. The lows are really low.

The good news is you will trust and admire everybody you work with, and rest easy knowing you're doing THE defining work of your career. The highs are blindingly high.

Heidi will take care of you. We offer a $1,000 annual learning and development budget, a $150/month health and wellness allowance, a $500 home office budget, 26 weeks paid primary parental leave and 18 weeks paid secondary parental leave, fertility support up to $10,000, four weeks of work from anywhere per year, and serious equity.

True A-players progress extremely fast here. The nature of the scale-up game is demanding, but we don't track hours or micromanage - you're trusted to perform. We value mental health and adapt to your schedule. We operate on outcomes > inputs, not process theatre. We all take the bins out, metaphorically and literally.

Design Senior Manager, Product Design at B Lab

Leads product design strategy and team across B Lab's digital products, aligning design vision with user needs and organizational impact.

Senior Hybrid Posted 13 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

This is a Full-Time Role (40 hours per week) with no option for part-time work. While this is a remote-first opportunity, the candidate filling this role must be a resident of the Netherlands, the UK, Pennsylvania, New York, or Brazil at the start of employment. Additionally, they must be within commuting distance of our office in Amsterdam, London, Philadelphia, New York City, or SĂŁo Paulo. Please visit our Careers page to review all opportunities and submit your application for the role(s) that best fit your location and work authorization.

About the Team

The Product Team is part of a broader group led by the Chief Standards Officer.  This function includes B Lab’s Standards, Assurance, Product, and Commercial portfolio. The department is tasked with developing and maintaining rigorous standards that drive meaningful change by building accessible products and commercial strategies that enable global scale. The department encompasses standards development, assurance model management, product innovation, and the commercial engine that ensures financial sustainability.

The Product team at B Lab sets the direction for our core digital product, B Corp Certification. We focus on aligning with B Lab’s theory of change, user needs, and delivery, ensuring work supports impact. Implementation happens through integrated, cross-functional squads that include Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX Designers, Engineers, and a Scrum Master. While Software Engineers sit in a separate department, we partner closely through shared delivery teams to plan, prioritize, and deliver together. Product Owners focus on specific feature areas, partnering closely with the Product Manager to translate product vision and strategy into prioritized plans and backlogs. The Product Manager role will support by providing strategic direction and cross-product alignment, to support Product Owners in the refinement and delivery process within their domains. Collaboration across teams is central to how we work, enabling cohesive delivery across complex systems like certification and assurance. The Product team also plays a key connective role across B Lab partnering with technology, operations, standards, and assurance to prioritize work thoughtfully and build products that drive meaningful impact at scale.

About the Opportunity

B Lab is seeking a Senior Product Design Manager to provide strategic leadership, stability, and coherence across the product design function supporting B Corp Certification and related product experiences in B Impact. This role is accountable for the growth of design maturity within the organization, the quality and consistency of design output, and the effectiveness of design as a trusted strategic partner to Product, Engineering, Commercial, Standards, Operations and the wider organization.

This role ensures that every digital and service touchpoint is built around genuine customer needs. It elevates design and user research to first-class capabilities within B Lab.

This is a leadership and management role, not a permanent squad assignment. The Manager won’t be embedded in a single squad, but will actively support squads as needed, jumping in to unblock, provide direction on complex problems, and strengthen design contribution across the board. A core part of this role is shaping how design, product, and engineering work together within the shared squad model, establishing the ways of working, collaboration norms, and delivery practices that make cross-functional teams effective.

Product and Experience design at B Lab is a small but growing discipline, and this role will be instrumental in building it out. You will grow and develop the team, including design and research capability, and establish how Product Design, Service Design, and Research work together as an integrated practice. This means being accountable not just for the quality of design output, but for how the function is structured, developing a customer research function, gathering and using insight to inform design decisions, and sharing what has been learned from customers to be leveraged across the organization.

Core Responsibilities

Design Strategy & Leadership [40%]

  • Advocate for design’s role across B Lab by raising organizational understanding of what design contributes, when it should be involved, and how design maturity improves product outcomes. This includes educating non-design leaders, embedding design earlier in discovery, and making the value of design visible through outcomes, not just outputs.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing design and research team through coaching, mentoring, hiring, and career development
  • Establish clear ways of working, decision-making, and team responsibilities to support effective collaboration and sustainable delivery
  • Act as the central design lead across the organization, helping prioritize requests, protect team focus, and represent design in leadership and planning discussions
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to align design capacity, team priorities, and delivery outcomes
  • Foster a strong culture of craft, feedback, continuous learning, psychological safety, and user-centred design practices across the organization

Product & Service Experience [30%]

  • Own design quality and consistency across all squads by defining and maintaining clear standards for what “good” looks like
  • Provide strategic design direction on complex, cross-squad experiences and contribute hands-on UX/UI work where needed to unblock or elevate outcomes
  • Establish and reinforce core design practices, including how work is initiated, reviewed, handed off to engineering, and collaborated on with Product and stakeholders
  • Champion accessibility and inclusive design standards to ensure experiences work well for a diverse, global user base across contexts and constraints

Design System & Design Operations [20%]

  • Lead the maturation and operationalisation of B Lab’s design system, including establishing the standards, foundations, governance models, and contribution practices needed across all digital touchpoints
  • Improve design operations, including Figma tooling, workflows, handoff processes, naming conventions, and team practices
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to establish effective and consistent ways of working and oversee design QA, ensuring shipped products reflect intended designs across squads
  • Build a culture of high-quality experience design through feedback loops, and progressive adoption as the design system matures

Research & Insights - Discovery [10%]

  • Support with Product leadership to shape and govern the product development lifecycle, establishing clear principles that connect discovery, design, and delivery, and ensuring user research and insights actively inform prioritisation and roadmap decisions
  • In the near-to-medium term, help establish and mature the organisation’s research capability. This responsibility is intended to support the formation of a more dedicated research function or peer capability over time, with the role’s focus expected to evolve off of research and more heavily toward design operations, quality, and design leadership as the organisation matures

About You

  • Strategic Thinking: connects design decisions to product strategy and long-term user impact

  • User Research: Ability to provide direction and development B Lab’s research function, with previous hands-on experience including interviews and synthesis of findings, to drive informed product decisions.
  • Service Design: familiarity with journey mapping, service blueprinting, and systems thinking across digital and non-digital touch points
  • Accessibility & Inclusive Design: working knowledge of WCAG standards and a practical understanding of what inclusive, globally accessible design looks like across diverse languages, cultures, and connectivity contexts
  • Design Operations & Systems: experience establishing or maturing design operations, including design system governance, tooling (Figma), workflows, and handoff standards
  • Tech tools: demonstrable proficiency in Miro or FigJam, Jira, Confluence, usability testing platforms (Optimal Workshop, UseBerry or equivalent), Figma and design system tooling within Figma
  • Collaboration & Design Thinking: brings a design thinking mindset to cross-functional work, facilitating teams through ambiguity, aligning diverse stakeholders around user needs, and turning complex problems into clear, actionable directions
  • Communication & Negotiation: clearly communicates priorities, intent, and trade-offs across the business, working with product and organisational stakeholders to align on direction, navigate competing demands, and ensure design quality and intent are understood and championed at every level
  • Adaptability: Navigates change and iterates based on learning and feedback
  • Stakeholder Management: manages and champions design and customer needs across a wide stakeholder landscape, owning the design process, maintaining a clear point of view, and confidently pushing back when decisions risk compromising user experience or design intent

About You

  • 7+ years of experience in product design, UX, or service design— including at least 2 years in a lead or management role
  • Strategic Thinking: connects design decisions to product strategy and long-term user impact
  • People Management: experience coaching, developing, and managing designers at different levels
  • User-Centered Design (UCD): knowledge of prototyping, usability testing, and applying UCD principles to create user-friendly products that meet business objectives.
  • Extensive experience in Lean UX
  • Product & Interaction Design: a credible design leader with a strong practitioner background in UX/UI and interaction design, able to set the quality bar, provide authoritative design direction, and earn the trust of the team through depth of craft knowledge

Design Associate Art Director at Kargo

Associate Art Director creates and maintains Kargo's visual brand identity across sales collateral, events, social content, and marketing materials.

Mid Hybrid Posted 15 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Who We Are

Kargo creates powerful moments of connection between brands and consumers to build businesses. Every day, our 600+ employees work to radically raise the bar on what agentic AI, CTV, eCommerce, social, and mobile can do to deliver unique ad experiences across the world’s most premium platforms. Taking a creative science approach to all we do, we continuously innovate solutions that outperform industry benchmarks and client expectations. Now 20+ years strong, Kargo has offices in NYC, Chicago, LA,  Dallas, Sydney, Auckland, London and Waterford, Ireland.

Who We Hire

Techies who want to build the future. Creatives who want to design it better. Communicators to win business. Collaborators to build it. Data pros who turn numbers into insights. Product builders who turn ideas into innovations. Anyone eager to be on a team that doesn’t stop to ask what’s next, because they’re already building it.

Mission

Elevate Kargo’s brand expression across every surface — from sales decks and event activations to social, sizzles, and industry moments like Cannes. This role owns the craft and consistency of Kargo’s visual identity, partnering with the Design Director to translate strategy into design work that distinguishes Kargo in a crowded ad tech landscape.

This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence 4 days per week.

Outcomes — What Success Looks Like in 6–12 Months

  • Raise the creative bar on sales and marketing collateral. Deliver a refreshed system of bespoke presentation templates, one-pagers, and pitch assets that the sales org adopts as default, measurably reducing ad-hoc design requests.
  • Anchor the visual identity of flagship events. Lead end-to-end creative for at least one tentpole moment (e.g., Cannes, NewFronts, CES, or a regional summit), from concept through on-site execution, producing work that earns internal and industry recognition.
  • Build a scalable creative operations rhythm. Establish clear intake, prioritization, and milestone communication for incoming ticket requests so cross-functional partners know what to expect and when.
  • Expand Kargo’s social and sizzle output. Produce a consistent stream of motion, animation, and short-form video assets that strengthen Kargo’s voice across LinkedIn, industry channels, and internal comms.
  • Codify and evolve the brand system. Contribute meaningful updates to brand guidelines, templates, and asset libraries so the broader org can self-serve on-brand work without sacrificing quality.

Skills — Core Technical Capabilities

Required:

  • 6+ years of design experience at a media company, ad agency, in-house brand, or comparable creative environment
  • Portfolio demonstrating mastery across typography, layout, photography, illustration, and composition, with strong motion/animation work
  • Expert command of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Figma
  • Ability to concept and execute across formats — branding systems, presentations, event environments, social, and video
  • Strong project management instincts: juggling multiple workstreams, setting priorities, and communicating status without being asked
  • Fluency in Google Suite, PowerPoint, and Asana for day-to-day production and collaboration

Preferred:

  • Experience designing for live events, experiential activations, or large-format environments (e.g., drone shows, booth design, signage)
  • Background in ad tech, media, or B2B brands selling into marketers and agencies

Competencies — Behaviors We Like to See

Craft Obsession

  • Sweats the details others miss — kerning, hierarchy, motion timing — and pushes work past “good enough”
  • Brings a point of view on design trends and culture, and translates it into Kargo’s voice rather than chasing aesthetic fads

Concept-to-Delivery Ownership

  • Comes to brainstorms with bold ideas and the conviction to defend them, then sees them through production without losing fidelity
  • Proactively flags risks, dependencies, and timeline slippage before they become fire drills

Cross-Functional Fluency

  • Translates business asks from sales, events, and marketing partners into creative direction without needing perfect briefs
  • Coaches non-designers on what good looks like, raising the quality of work across the org

Pace Under Pressure

  • Manages a high volume of concurrent requests — from a Cannes activation to a same-day sales deck — without dropping balls

Design Associate Art Director at Kargo

Associate Art Director creates and maintains visual brand identity across sales collateral, events, social content, and marketing materials while partnering with design leadership.

  • Stays positive and collaborative when priorities shift, deadlines tighten, or feedback comes in late

In accordance with applicable federal, state, and local pay transparency laws, the anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education, and skills.

📍 Location:

This is a hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to work 3days a week in our Toronto office, located at 351 King St E , Toronto, ON.

What you will be doing:

  • Design exceptional user experiences for Caseware’s cloud-based audit, financial reporting, and data analytics products, using a modern toolkit that includes Figma Make, Claude Code, and Replit alongside traditional UX methods.

  • Bring AI tools into your day-to-day design practice, using them to accelerate ideation, generate and pressure-test prototypes, and explore a wider solution space than would be possible working manually alone.

  • Evaluate and refine AI-generated design output critically, making sure that speed never comes at the cost of accessibility, usability, or intentional design thinking.

  • Conduct user research and usability testing, feeding real user insights back into your design and AI-assisted iteration cycles to keep work grounded in what people actually need.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define solutions and ensure that AI-assisted design artifacts translate clearly into implementation.

  • Help shape how our team works, contributing to shared practices around prompting, output review, and the integration of AI tools into our design and development workflow.

  • Think beyond individual features to design cohesive auditor journeys where AI and agentic capabilities enhance how audit work gets planned, executed, and delivered.

  • Participate actively in design critiques, and stay curious about where UX practice, AI tooling, and the accounting software industry are heading.

What you will bring:

  • A genuine enthusiasm for working at the intersection of design craft and AI-assisted making, along with the critical thinking skills to ensure that speed and automation never come at the cost of user-centred outcomes.

  • Approximately 2 to 3 years of professional UX experience, with a portfolio that shows not just what you designed but how you think through problems and make decisions.

  • Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted tools such as Figma Make, Claude Code, or Replit as part of your design workflow, including the ability to prompt effectively, evaluate generated output, and refine it to meet design system and accessibility standards.

  • The ability to contribute to evolving team practices around AI tooling, including shared prompting conventions, output review standards, and integration with development workflows.

  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools including Figma and related platforms, and experience working within and contributing to a component-based design system.

  • Experience planning and running user research and usability testing, and a track record of translating those findings into design improvements across iterative cycles.

  • A strong working knowledge of accessibility standards, including the ability to evaluate AI-generated components for compliance and usability gaps.

  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting design decisions and the reasoning behind your process to product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration, particularly in a team that is actively evolving how it works rather than following a fully established playbook.

  • Understanding of responsive design principles and experience designing across platforms.

  • An understanding of responsible AI principles and how they apply to interaction design, including bias, transparency, and designing for trust.

  • Knowledge of accounting, audit, or financial services industries is a bonus, as is prior experience designing for AI-powered or conversational product features.

What this role involves

Join Axon and be a Force for Good.

At Axon, we’re on a mission to Protect Life. We’re explorers, pursuing society’s most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.

Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you’ll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.

About Axon 911

Axon 911 brings together Prepared and Carbyne under Axon. Together, we are creating the only platform that combines modern 911 infrastructure with an AI intelligence layer—helping public safety agencies move faster, make better decisions, and deliver better outcomes in the moments that matter most.

911 is the backbone of public safety, yet the professionals behind it have long been held back by outdated technology. Axon 911 is here to change that. Joining this team means more than taking a job—it means helping shape the future of emergency response and building a safer, more connected world.

Your Impact

As a Staff Product Designer at Prepared, you will own and shape the user experience across critical, high-impact products that power emergency response. This is a highly autonomous role where you’ll operate as a thought partner to Product and Engineering—deeply understanding customer workflows, driving product direction, and delivering exceptional design in complex, fast-moving environments. Your work will directly influence how 911 professionals operate in high-stakes situations, advancing our mission to ensure every emergency receives the best possible response.

You’ll operate at the center of multiple critical product surfaces, bringing focus and prioritization in an environment where design resources are limited but impact is high. Success in this role comes from showing up—building deep, trust-based relationships with customers and teammates through consistent, high-touch collaboration.

This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of four days per week in our Manhattan office.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end design across multiple product areas, including both net-new (0→1) products and existing workflows
  • Act as a strategic partner to Product Managers and Engineers—co-owning problem definition, not just executing on requirements
  • Build deep relationships with customers (e.g., dispatchers, call takers), proactively engaging in interviews, shadowing, and usability testing
  • Rapidly prototype and test ideas (including AI-assisted workflows) to validate solutions before engineering investment
  • Create high-quality UX, interaction design, and polished UI that balances usability, speed, and real-world constraints
  • Operate within the codebase and design system to ensure designs are implemented with high quality and consistency, partnering closely with engineering to bridge design and production
  • Drive clarity in ambiguous problem spaces and identify opportunities across products to improve workflows and outcomes

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of product design experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex, end-to-end product work
  • Proven ability to operate as a true partner to Product, influencing direction—not just executing tasks
  • Strong track record of customer obsession—you proactively engage users, run your own research, and build deep empathy for workflows
  • High level of initiative and work ethic—you proactively identify problems, test ideas, and drive work forward without waiting for direction
  • Experience designing in ambiguous, fast-paced environments (startup or similar)
  • Strong UX and interaction design skills, with solid visual design fundamentals (visual polish is important, but secondary to impact)
  • Proven experience contributing to and extending design systems, including building components that drive consistency and scalability across a suite of products
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools in design workflows (e.g., prototyping, ideation, or testing)
  • Comfortable owning multiple problem areas and flexing across product domains as needed

Benefits that Benefit You

  • Competitive salary and 401k with employer match
  • Discretionary paid time off
  • Paid parental leave for all
  • Medical, Dental, Vision plans
  • Fitness Programs
  • Emotional & Mental Wellness support
  • Learning & Development programs
  • Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
  • And yes, we have snacks in our offices

Benefits listed herein may vary depending on the nature of your employment and the location where you work.
